The AFC Supporters Trust would like to congratulate the team on a magnificent effort in the 2-2 draw last night against Bayern Munich in the last 32 of the UEFA Cup. Bayern, the favorites for the tournament and the 7th richest team in the world were made to struggle at times with the passion of the Dons.

It brought back memories of the spirit of 83, and in many ways could be argued that this was a better performance than 83, as this is an Aberdeen team who has not recently won the Scottish League or Cup as their 83 counterparts had. The thousands traveling to Munich now go with a little bit of hope that a miracle could happen – you never know!
