The AFC Supporters Trust, whilst totally deploring any coin or missile throwing strongly disagrees with criticism of the fans with regard to the throwing of papers from the display in the RDS on Sunday and has mushroomed into descriptions of cardboard and even further to missiles!

Lets get the issue into perspective, the mural type display brought a bit of colour to the stadium and when the scrunched up paper was thrown from the top deck of the RDS it reached the bottom deck and when thrown from the bottom deck didn't reach the pitch!

Rather than being criticised the fans should have been applauded for their time and initiative.

The coin and bottle throwers have been correctly castigated and banned from the stadium, but to label the fans in the RDS similarly is ridiculous. Lets hope this is not the last colourful display at Pittodrie.
