AFC Trust congratulates the AFC management team for agreeing a longer term deal for Fraser Fyvie.

Fraser is the latest of several very promising players to make the breakthrough into the first team pool. The emergence of these youngsters is justification for the Dons youth policy and Willie Miller is to be congratulated for his vision and drive in establishing the AFC Youth Academy and to Lenny Taylor for making it such a success.

We all know that the long term future for AFC lies in youth development and that eventually, some players will be sold, generating funds to further develop the sytem. By placing young players on longer term contracts, the possibility of a financial return is increased.
